Material
The Puddle® washbasin is now manufactured from the Corian® Terra Collection, this collection of Corian consist of many colours that have been third party certified by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) to contain pre-consumer recycled content. These surfaces contain material diverted from the waste stream in the manufacturing process which reduces the need to process virgin material.

Three colours selected by Minosa® from the Terra collection of Corian® including Rice Paper, White Jasmine & Whisper contain 13% pre-consumer recycled content.

A further three colours contain 6% pre-consumer recycled content and include Canvas, Raffia & Suede.

Corian® also contributes to the environment through other means.

LONG LIFE CYCLE AND RE-USABILITY
Corian® has a long life cycle and requires less replacement over time, offering exceptional cost effectiveness with reduced waste. Corian® can also be easily renewed to its original appearance. And due to its renewability and inconspicuous joins, Corian® can be recycled, reconditioned or reused from an existing application to another new one.

CERTIFICATION
Corian® meets or exceeds emissions guidelines for volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and is GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified® and GREENGUARD for Children and Schools™. Corian® is also approved and listed on Eco Specifier. No single product can earn certification, since GBCA awards certification only to the complete building. However, specifying Corian® for a variety of installations can help construction projects earn points in several categories.

NON-TOXIC
Corian® is non-toxic and non-allergenic to humans. This has been third-party certified to be free of heavy metals and comply with the EU Directive 2002/95EC on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS).
