Screw Drive Pins for Stoneclip Products from Stoneclip

The above images show the 6mm x 60mm deep hole drilled into the concrete filled block wall to accept the Screw Drive Pin. In soft material such as Hebel block, it is recommended that the drill hole come down to 5.5mm x 60mm deep.

The beneficial part of this type of screw drive pin is that if you want to add a glue into the penetration you can as the pin turns clockwise as being driven in and pulls in with itself any added product. These pins are able to be used into wood studwork also but there is always the problem of vibration when driving into wood as opposed to screwing into it.

The Screw Drive Pin (SDP)placed into the 6mm predrilled hole. The pin has an ink mark on the head to show the driven movement of it as it is installed.

These images show the pin after 2 hits with the hammer - the head has turned 1/4 turn clockwise. The SDP after it has been driven fully in - it has turned nearly 1/2 a turn clockwise.

This shows a test series of 3 driven pins where the first pin has been installed and the second is placed in its drilled hole, to be driven home. The first pin has turned 1/2 a turn clockwise after penetration of the 60 mm deep into the concrete block substrate. The second image shows the second SDP fully installed and turned clockwise 1/2 a turn in its hole.

This shows the 3 pins all driven home into the blockwork and all turned 1/2 turn clockwork.

This first image shows the 3rd pin ready to be driven home and the top 2 fully installed. The last image shows the 3 x SDP and the 14mm recessed drive pin used to install them along with a 6mm adjustable Stoneclip.

These SDP are now being supplied with all stoneclip products from the 15mm set size (1/ clip) Stoneclip to the 10mm (2/ clip) adjustable Stoneclip .
