Roadside Surface Water Drainage from Hydro Construction Products

Golf Links Estate - Croydon VIC

In an effort to improve the longevity of the sealed roads and provide flood mitigation for properties in the Golf Links Estate, Croydon, Maroondah City Council oversaw road & drainage enhancement works which were completed early in 2014.

Hydro Construction Products' Access 2000 channel with ductile iron Heelguard grates was selected to aid in surface water management on the roadside and across residents' driveways.

The robust channel design coupled with a lockable Class D grate ensured that the lineal drainage was capable of withstanding the anticipated vehicular traffic whilst maintaining a suitable aesthetic for the landscape and being safe for pedestrians.
