Shown with door removed to reveal detail.

Morse Watchman's KeyWatcher and KeyBank electronic key management systems are your answer to key control. Providing complete key reports and audit trails, the KeyWatcher is the only key system that comes standard with random key return and locking locations. This electronic key box is being used by corporate and casino security, correctional centres, hospitals, universities, shopping centres, car dealerships and fleet vehicle operators and defence sites throughout the world.

KeyWatcher can be configured for simple opening using a single PIN entry code or for high security applications using dual or triple entry codes, sophisticated card access and/or keypad as well as Biometric devices such as finger-print readers to gain access to each key within the key cabinet based on a users ID and level of authorization. The KeyWatcher automatically records this information in a database to provide you with a complete and indisputable audit key report trail. Unauthorized access can trigger alarms locally and centrally.

The Keywatcher key control and audit tracking key management system offers tight security, eliminates manual log errors, cuts down on the number of times you might need to re-key due to lost keys and minimizes people unintentionally taking home keys. It frees up manpower for other important duties and puts the responsibility and accountability on the key users!

The KeyWatcher System
Random key return makes returning keys fast! It allows users to return keys to any vacant position within the KeyWatcher. KeyWatcher automatically memorises the key number and its position in the cabinet for the next release.

  • Easy-to-read 2 line, 17 character display.
  • Accountability by time, date, and user codes, key number and key name.
  • Time zones can be assigned to each individual key and user.

KeyWatcher Security

  • Random key return eliminates pattern checking.
  • Limits accessibility with 1,000 individual user codes to increase security.
  • Tampering with The KeyWatcher or SmartKeys triggers an alarm.
  • Alarm sounds when a key is overdue.
  • Up to 5 different alarms (optional).

The KeyWatcher system is the only expandable system of its kind available in today's market. A system of any size can easily be configured by adding pre-built modules off 16 keys, you can economically build your own system to suit your individual needs. Manage as few as sixteen keys or take control of hundreds or even thousands.

Unique Features
In certain work places, many users need to remove keys at the same time. Each user must enter a pin number, decide which keys they need, and then punch in the key numbers. This can force users to have to wait in a long line of people before they can get their keys. A unique and useful feature available with the KeyWatcher called "Instant Key Release" helps speed things along. This feature works in conjunction with the optional Card or Biometric Reader Interface and operates as follows:

  1. A user is given access to 1 or more keys.
  2. The user swipes his card, and the KeyWatcher instantly begins releasing that users key(s).
  3. When the user comes back to return the keys, he swipes his card again and is instantly prompted to return the keys.

One Time User Code
This feature allows a user to be programmed into the system as a "Temporary User". A "Temporary User Code" will only allow keys to be removed a single time and will be deleted from the system entirely when the keys that were removed have been returned. If the user makes an attempt to remove keys a second time prior to returning the original keys, they will be denied access. If the user attempts to access the system after the "Temporary User Code" has deleted, the user will be denied access. This feature is a great enhancement, especially if your facility has contractors that require access to keys in the system.

Tamper-Proof "Smart Keys"
Each key is fitted to a "smart-key" which works as an intelligent system to electronically monitor key release and return. Each key is protected by a 1/8" thick tamper-proof stainless steel ring. SmartKeys are available in: Green, Blue, Red, Yellow, Black, Brown, and Grey.
