Envirothane 8450 from A & I Coatings - water based polyurethane

Earth-friendly surface coatings with superior hardness and brilliant gloss need no longer be regarded as unachievable.

Surfaces such as kitchen cabinets and doors, bedroom doors, and external architectural steelwork have often traditionally been treated with conventional two pack polyurethane's. Now such a finish is frowned upon as imposing an unacceptable toll on our environment given its petroleum source and high VOC levels.

Envirothane 8450 has been developed to take the place of these conventional urethanes. As a genuine cross-linking polyurethane, it features:

• very low VOC's;
• a water based resin system;
• compliance with Green Building Council of Australia's Green Star system - maximum credits are obtainable;
• brilliant gloss;
• maximum hardness and surface slip for low maintenance;
• very good UV resistance.
