Enduroturf synthetic Softfall grass for child care centre's

Three Peas child care is the envy of every centre in Brisbane. Recently it installed Enduroturf synthetic grass and soft fall at its new centre on Nelson St Woolowin.

With the ongoing water restrictions and lack of rain, Three Peas Director Leesa Mallett was in a jam.

"I wanted to have a soft and natural play area for the children" says Leesa. "But with the water restrictions placed on us by council and the fact that we have a pretty small area, I was really limited on my choices. I really didn't want to put in the standard "tennis court" style of artificial grass that most centre's use" Leesa says. "It's very hard, fake looking and sandy, and it just isn't what I wanted for my centre."

Enduroturf Synthetic Grass is incredibly natural looking and feeling. Made from Australian products it is manufactured to replicate the look and feel of real grass - without the need for watering, mowing and weeding.

"I contacted Enduroturf when I heard about their product and was absolutely amazed at how real it looks and feels" Says Glen Mallet, husband of Three Peas Director Leesa and also the architect of the centre. "It was exactly what Leesa wanted - green, soft, maintenance free and most importantly it didn't need any water. It was installed a few month's ago and it has been performing beautifully. It takes a real beating at the centre and it has held up incredibly well" comments Glen.

"Our sand and rubber filled synthetic grass is becoming very popular in areas where children play" says Glen Hannon from Enduroturf. "It's a low maintenance way to have a safe and clean area for children to play, while at the same time having a natural looking, green environment that meets the strict Australian Standards that are required."

"With the lack of rain and the harsh restrictions placed on watering, many child care centre's, schools and sporting organisations are really starting to take notice of the advancements that have been made over the last few years in our industry" states Hannon.

"It won't be long before you see entire sporting ovals being constructed out of synthetic grass" says Glen. "Unless we see a tremendous amount of rain over a long period of time, there really is no other option."
