Nat Spec is a guide for tree assessment of tree quality. During the Olympics Andreasens Green grew and supplied trees to Nat Spec standard. This standard looks at the measurement and specific guide line structures on trees in a container. It takes into account tree form, structure, inter-node formation, caliper, stem taper, root development and height to root ball ratio. This provides a basis for clients to assess quality and compare a trees standard before procuring. All Andreasens Green Nurseries are undertaking to produce all trees to this standard and will be educating staff and clients of the benefits and knowledge.
