Corian solid surfaces from CASF Australia at the Chalk Hotel

When the Chalk Hotel was refurbished, there was a clear focus. The client desired a translucent look, and had previously used Corian® in other projects and liked its qualities and performance. Therefore Corian® was selected in Ice White for the bar top, front as well as shelving.

The bar was installed with back lighting to create a dramatic atmosphere that 'glows' in the night. Corian® also creates a dramatic effect in the daylight, by providing a 'frosty' look. The Chalk Hotel has also won the Queensland Project of The Year by the Australian Institute of Building in 2006.
