Global Safe Technologies tactile indicator solution

Maintenance management of this public company had requirements for tactile ground surface indicator for their NSW office to ensure compliance with the relevant disability standards AS/NZS 1428 4-2002.

Global Safe Technologies was recommended to them by their cleaning contracting company. After attending the site and having detailed discussion with the maintenance manager and assessing the situation, the marine grade stainless steel tactiles were proposed for the internal carpeted surfaces. The client was confident to go ahead with the suggested solution as Global Safe not only offered great product range, but also understanding of relevant standards and application, proven outstanding quality and range of the product, long term warranty, ongoing risk management program (FSMP©) and competitive price.

The Global Safe team worked together with the AUSTACT's representative and have installed the tactiles at all internal locations onto concrete / carpet tile substrate.

The job was completed out of hours to ensure that normal business operation was not affected, within agreed time and budget as well as to the highest quality and to the total satisfaction of the client.

As a result of this job, the company has decided to engage Global Safe Technologies Australia with further tactile work in their other areas.
