There are so many new products available on the market today, but Stone Fabric is one that stands out from the rest. A new method has been developed which allows us to capture the unique sandstone sediment formations on fabric and apply it in new and exciting ways.

Stone Fabric is a natural material that can be used both internally and externally on many different substrates. Quite simply, rather than carving shapes from solid blocks, technology now enables sandstone to be supplied in 3mm thin sheets that can be shaped to follow the curves of practically any profile. Stone Fabric combines the use of superior adhesives and sealants, to create a look of natural beauty and timeless appeal.

Given the products flexibility, it is extremely versatile and can be adhered to a variety of substrates from pre-formed plywood and plastic through to GRG and Aluminium / Steel and even walling materials including brick, plaster and blockwork. Stone Fabric can create a unique look to fencing or outdoor garden areas such as walls or feature objects, near swimming pools as well as for specifically defined applications such as coving or dado's. The Stone Fabric has also been widely used and successful in commercial applications internally and externally. It is an architect's dream to have sandstone available as an option to cover buildings and an economical alternative to creating decorative displays and shop fittings.

The unique make up of the product enables it to be curved and formed to suit virtually any shape making it an extremely popular choice for features that would generally be too complicated, impractical or even just too expensive to create in solid stone.

With options to create a seamless wall or give the impression of block work, Stone Fabric is certainly unique. It's ideal for curved or shaped walls and buildings, because it doesn't need to be faceted or specifically manufactured off site. It can just flow around block work or a rendered substrate to give the impression of block work.

Another additional feature of this unique product are the special sealants applied after Stone Fabric has been installed externally result in a waterproof finish and can also include anti graffiti applications assisting with low ongoing maintenance and added long term appeal.
