The ALPHA AE5 uses Dual 'SMART EYE' Motion Sensor operation ensuring that a greater area of coverage can be detected; This important feature not only automatically regulates the LED output to preserve battery autonomy but also provides an important security feature to increase community security by deterring unsociable behaviour and increasing natural surveillance in troublesome areas.

The fluctuation of lighting intensity from a 'dim' lighting level to 'full' brightness can be programmed to be activated upon the detection of movement around the light. In addition 'Smart Eye' can be configured to control the LED output in various modes.
