Made from UV stabilised high-density polyethylene plastic, the polymer modular cable duct system is lightweight, costs less than traditional drainage solutions, and therefore is the most practical electrical or communication ducting solution available in the market.

Due to its light weight, the polymer duct system is easy to transfer, carry, and install, thus reduces overall construction time and labour requirements. It withstands grinding, masonry drilling, and chisels without the need for steel reinforcement.

The polymer modular cable duct system promotes maximum protection as it can resist buildup and penetration of harmful chemicals. It is entirely frost proof and unsusceptible to premature deterioration or corrosion for a longer life value. Polymer modular cable duct systems can be locked down to prevent theft and reduce damaging effects from natural movements.

Hydro offers a variety of covers through their bespoke services to match specifications of any project or plan. For larger ducting especially for driveway applications, specially manufactured covers are installed on top of in-site trenches. To add depth to the pits, the polymer duct system can be enlarged by adding polymer concrete risers.

The Hydro Polymer Modular Cable Duct System is available in the C Series or Z Series, each built with male/female interlocking joints, and can be combined with cable pits to enable full control on the direction.

• C Series - duct with cast iron edge rail in 1000mm lengths plus ductile iron covers in 500mm. Classified under load class F & G, which is suited for special surfaces with extreme high wheel loads of up to 30,000kg. Available in 1000mm to 3000mm widths.
• Z Series - duct with zinc edge rail plus galvanised steel covers, both in 1000mm lengths. Classified under load class B, fit for places with daily light vehicles with a 2,670kg wheel load. Available in 1000mm to 2000 widths.
