Introducing colour with Moondani Glass Design

By utilising glass that has a coloured tint throughout its thickness, i.e., grey, blue, green, bronze, etc.

By utilising compatible coloured glasses that are fused together forming endless and individual colour blends, textures and patterns. This results in colour of the highest quality and richest vibrancy. This may be utilised alone or incorporated within textural glass.

Applied colour is a cold painted application to the surface of the glass. A broad range of transparent and solid colours are possible with an exciting spectrum of metallic, mirror and lustre finishes.

These types of colour are often used for signage, wall cladding, flooring and table tops.

Colour matching is available.

Please note that the natural green hue of float glass may cause a slight variation to the selected colour.

Applied colour applications are not recommended for use in areas which are continually subjected to high levels of moisture, heat, traffic, weather and strong light.

Although colour is normally applied to the textured surface, for wall cladding or floor tile treatments, it is recommended that the colour be applied to the smooth side of the glass so that the texture faces out. Since the smooth side of the glass should face upward for a bench top, table or reception desk top, any solid colour should have a metallic compound to activate the optical qualities of the texture or it will look very flat when viewed from the smooth side.
