Aristocrat needed a signage solution that met a number of criteria including the ability to move the sign in the future, install an illuminated sign in an area where gaining access to existing mains power supply was difficult, being able to regulate the hours of internal illumination of the sign and create a finished sign that helped to reduce the company's carbon footprint.

Employing a photovoltaic system and battery storage allow for the sign to run independent of grid power. This monolith type sign draws all of its power requirements direct from the sun. Cabling requirements are reduced and there is no reliance on external green house gas producing power sources.

The solution provided by Cunneen Signs incorporates an aluminium composite clad subframe with an internal engineered water ballast to keep the sign in place but also allow it to be moved in the future.

Finally the use of an integrated programmable timer allows for the sign to be switched on and off according to council regulations and client needs.
