FLOORChef takes off at the World of Concrete

FLOORChef lands on the global stage at WOC 2012

The end of January 2012 marked a significant step in the FLOORChef revolution when we took our systems to the world stage at the World of Concrete in Las Vegas.

While a trip like that is an unforgettable experience on a number of levels, without doubt the biggest highlight was the amazing success of the show itself. The number of names we took down and the overall response to the FLOORChef way of life far exceeded our expectations. (Although, I'm still not sure if some of the smiles and laughter that came our way was because of the way I looked in a bandana - take a look at the video below and judge yourself).

Importantly, the show also doubled as the official launch of FLOORChef LLC, the US arm of our company. Phew! One thing I know is that our team will be a busy lot over the next few months. Good luck guys! As mentioned above, the sheer volume of interest we attracted from both contractors and "show-goers" wanting a FLOORChef floor was enormous and provided the perfect platform for FLOORChef in the US market.

Being an international exhibition meant that other parts of the globe were just as keen to taste what FLOORChef was dishing out as well. The WOC threw up strong interest from companies in Canada, Mexico, Chile, UAE, Korea and right across Europe. Who knows what the future holds for FLOORChef all over the world!?

On a final note, I'd like to thank the tireless efforts of every FLOORChef team member and also send out a special thank you to the FLOORChef people who made the journey and popped in to say hi. Great stuff, guys!
