Concrete Scanning and Mapping from Pennoscan

Concrete scanning or concrete mapping much like regular GPR give us a visual representation of what lies beneath in relation to concrete.

Using our concrete scanning equipment our technicians can accurately locate the position of steel reinforcement, post tension cables, and electrical conduits.

Once the scan is complete we can mark our findings on the slab or compile a report for further investigation.

Scanning an area before any penetrations are undertaken greatly reduces the chance of causing any damage to a structure and in the case of Post Tension Cables damage can cost tens-of-thousands of dollars to repair.

Further to this Pennoscan (as our name suggests) can scan the area and then complete ant core drilling or concrete cutting work. This not only saves our customers time and money but also reduces the risk of a misunderstanding of the scan results.
