Polyester Laminating Resin from Dalchem

Polyester Resin is used for fibreglassing. Fibreglass is a strong inexpensive reinforcement for all your molding and casting applications. It may be the basic shell of a mould ('Mother Mould') when silicone is the main moulding product.

The resin is activated by the addition of MEKP catalyst (sold seperately). Often Chopped Strand Mat is embedded into the resin for reinforcement.

Applications: Mould Casing, Special Effects, Life casting, Architectural Models, Model Kits, Collectibles, Masters & Prototypes, Decorative Component.
