With over forty projects worldwide, Libeskind's architecture extends from museums and concert halls to convention centers, universities, hotels, shopping centers, and residential projects. Daniel has taught and lectured at universities all over the world, received numerous awards and designed world-renowned projects, including the master plan for the World Trade Center in New York and the Jewish Museum in Berlin, among others. In Italy, Libeskind is involved in the project "Citylife" of Milan, which includes the realisation of three futuristic skyscrapers for the upgrading of the old fair district. Libeskind's book, "Counterpoint", is the first major profile of his work.
The geometry of the Denver handle (by Daniel Libeskind and manufactured by Olivari in Italy) is inspired by that of the Denver Art museum. Libeskind designed the Frederic C. Hamilton building, which serves as the main entrance to the rest of the museum complex, as well as housing the Modern and Contemporary art collection.
