Sheer, translucent and block out blinds from Designed Blinds

Designed Blinds Australia®'s fabric range is made of three categories: sheer, translucent and block out. Each category has a different function and performs in a different way. Any fabric type can be made up into any of the different styles, Beach®, Logic®, Inika® or Glide®, and many of the fabrics are exclusive to Designed Blinds Australia®.

Sheer
Sheer has the finest weave of the fabric range, and it provides daytime privacy only: at night, when a light is on in the room, all privacy is lost. Because of this, it is often used in conjunction with another fabric, for example with a translucent on the Dual® system. Depending on the sheerness of the fabric, it is still possible to retain a view, and protect from a high percentage of the UV rays and glare.

Translucent
This middleweight fabric range will provide both day and night privacy. It does not allow any vision through the fabric, but will let filtered light come into the room if the blinds are down during the day. It is a perfect choice for a living area, where only one product is used at the window.

Block out
As the name suggests, this fabric will not allow any light to penetrate and is therefore ideal for a bedroom area. It provides 100% light and UV block, and gives both day and night privacy.
