Laboratory benchtops by CASF Australia for Masada College

Masada College in St Ives, Sydney recently refurbished a laboratory building. With this project, came the search for the right material for a benchtop surface that will not permanently stain, and could stand up to the exposure of different chemicals. The durability and non-porous nature of Corian® makes it a great solution for laboratory applications.

Corian® was used for the benchtops and splashbacks and provided a hygienic solution with easy cleaning features. Corian® was selected by Gardner Wetherill & Associates for the laboratory benches at Masada College because it offered a resilient, chemical resistant, seamless finish. Corian® could be profiled to provide a seamless downturn and also a continuous edge fillet to prevent spillage. This provided the college with a hardwearing, attractive and practical surface for the students.
