Stone Cladding Sub-structure from Stoneclip

This is our new sub-structure that is available onto the market place as of now. It is a very much advanced version of a system of ours directly aimed at creating large cavities for cladding substructures from 65 mm - 150 mm cavity when using the 21 mm deep x 42 mm wide channel. You can use the 42 mm x 42 mm channel and increase this to suit your needs, up to 200 mm wide.

The big savings and ease of installation lie in the new channel nut that has been developed and perfected for this specific use .Once you snap the channel nut into place you can go about the installation with a greater degree of control than by using the old system, which is still being used as it is very good and proven system.

The new system ( StoneSub ) allows us to use smaller Stoneclips, eg a 70 mm long x 8MM shaft can suffice a total cavity of 100 - 120 mm and carry weights of 20 kgs/ shaft, which means you could clad a wall with 1000 mm x 500 mm x 30 mm thick panels and be within the engineers specs. The height of the wall and area being constructed may effect the wind loading of the structure.

It also allows us to use ShockClip Stoneclip fixings with this system and get the speed of installation and also the greater benefits of ShockClip to effect vibration dangers and securing panels in place.
