Australian timbers showcased by Corinthian’s Specialist Door Division.

New designs from Corinthian's specialist division, William Russell Doors, feature Australian species exclusively. From bold to delicate, the natural colours and grain of species such as Sassafras, Blackwood, Myrtle, Ash, Jarrah and Tasmanian Oak are shown in ultra-contemporary styling, often with inlaid metal strips, in a way that has never been done before.

These are architectural quality doors of the kind generally reserved for special orders but now available direct to the general home market.

Among the new doors was the Fusion range.

The unique feature of the Fusion doors is the way in which different veneer species, glazing and metal inlays are used in striking combinations. Combinations of dark Jarrah or Blackwood timbers contrast against pale Ash to create a statement that is truly individual. Horizontal glazing bordered by a contemporary square bead treatment projects an understated style for todays minimalist architecture. Fusion Metal doors have the eye-catching distinction of inlays of brushed stainless steel running from top to bottom and contrasting with Myrtle or Blackwood timber.

Fusion doors are flush construction with internal framework of Select Victorian Ash, a higher grade of timber than is generally found in entrance doors. They feature William Russell's SoundCoreT technology which cuts down sound transmission while offering lightweight yet sturdy construction qualities.
