Dux Platinum was created out of a single product within the Aquadux Pty Ltd portfolio as part of Dux Industries (New Zealand) and has developed into a company segment in its own right leading a number of superior, architecturally designed commercial and residential plumbing products.

Aquadux and Dux are names synonymous with the manufacture and distribution of high quality bathroomware, plumbing and drainage products within Australasia. Established in 1936 by Ernie Christie in New Zealand, Dux Engineers as it was originally called, focused on metal fabrication and engineering.

Over the last 40 years Dux products were distributed and marketed by Plumbers Limited (NZ), the partnership culminated in the two companies combining in 1996. The combined company Dux Industries Ltd is now focused on being a world competitive force in plastic plumbing products. Aquadux Pty Ltd was created in Australia in 1989 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Dux Industries. Since then, marketing initiatives into new export areas continue to drive business expansion and have further developed Aquadux into a successful company.

In April 2006, Aquadux and Dux both joined the Aliaxis group of worldwide plumbing product manufacturers and distributors for construction, industrial and public utilities applications. As a subsidiary of the Aliaxis group, Dux Platinum shares worldwide presence in 37 countries.

Through a proud history of innovation, design and manufacturing excellence today's goal is to be the Australasian leader in the supply of quality bathroom, plumbing and drainage products.

The majority of the Dux platinum product is manufactured in Queensland and warehoused in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin and Townsville.

Product is sold throughout all leading plumbing and building retailers in Australia and New Zealand, as well as a number of growing export markets.
