Energy audits by Vim Sustainability Consulting

A Vim Sustainability Consultant will provide you with a detailed energy audit to a level 3 standard (Australian Standard). Our engineers are trained in energy auditing to that level by AIRAH and also have a full understanding of efficiencies. But we don't just audit energy. We audit efficiencies across all your facility.

We audit operations, daylight levels, temperature, air quality, air movement and comfort levels.

We investigate possible sustainability initiatives that can be implemented in a cost effective way to save your facility a lot of money and measurably reduce wastage. As an outcome of our audits you will be shown a range of efficiency measures that will improve comfort and improve productivity while reducing emissions of all types.

As an extra service Vim Sustainability can undertake thermal imaging of your facility to identify directly where energy losses through heat transfer are occurring. We also offer back to base energy monitoring so as we can monitor your energy use and keep you up to date on consumption levels and when you exceed certain agreed levels of usage.

In one recent energy audit in a building only 5 years old we found that if the client spent $30,000 on non structural and easy to implement changes we could save their facility $50,000 per annum on current power costs!
