Cast Iron Work Sydney from Wrought Artworks

As a part of the contract for the conservation of the cast iron work at Walter Reid Reserve in Oxford St, Paddington, Wrought Artworks made this pattern with raised text and graphics to cast a decorative covering for the 'Valve Chamber' at the entrance of the Reservoir.

This octagonal casting measured 3.5 meters across and was made in 9 sections. It weighs in excess of 2.5 ton.

It was cast in high strength ductile iron and installed onto a supporting steel frame.
