Timbercrete Builds Shoalhaven's Sustainable Housing Project

Nowra-based business, Timbercrete products, has formulated a plan to design and build an environmentally sustainable home. Shoalhaven city council has thrown its support behind the plan.

The purpose of the project is to educate Shoalhaven residents in sustainable building products, services and techniques. Local suppliers have also supported the project by providing sustainable building products and services.

The home that has been built is both affordable and provides information on the costs of various environmental options to help home builders make educated choices about incorporating sustainable products into their new homes.
