Italian Porphyry Benchtop & Stair Treads from Italian Porphyry

This project is in a private House located in Beaumaris (Melbourne). The Bench top is made of Italian Porphyry (Dark Purple Burgundy) it measures 900x4000mm and is in 2 pieces. Sides are split and the finish surface is exfoliated then treated with a penetrating and invisible sealer. We have gauged in the drain with a fall into a stainless steel sink mounted under a cut out hole in the benchtop.

The staircase comprises 15 Steps 300x1000mm by 150mm thick exfoliated and a landing Step 1000x1000 mm by 150mm thick. The steps are fixed to a powder coated mild steel frame.
