The Maeda MC 405 has proven it's versatility and strength in tight and restricted access areas by allowing Patterson Building Group to remove a large section of steel beams in inner-city Sydney recently.

Patterson Building Group are clearing an old warehouse to make way for a new apartment block but space was tight, so they needed a mini crane to access their site. Project Manager Craig Jamison said, "There's no way we could have fitted a franner crane or something larger in here. We're also excavating at the same time so the whole concrete slab would have been undermined by a conventional crane. I was amazed that the Maeda 405 was able to lift such a weight in such restricted access areas such as this building site. This crane is just amazing!"
