Reducing Power Consumption with LED Lighting from Aglo Systems

Narre Warren South P-12 College - Lighting upgrade
Narre Warren South P-12 College (NWSC) has grown rapidly since opening in 2002 and currently accommodates 1,830 students and 180 staff. The combination of a growing school and rising electricity prices meant NWSC's power bill was both uneconomical and unsustainable.
Aglo Systems was charged with the task of reducing the schools power consumption through an energy efficient lighting upgrade.
After a detailed lighting audit Aglo Systems determined that NWSC consumed 383,104.80 kWh/annum through lighting.
Aglo Systems project managed a complete lighting retrofit of the school, from initial audit to install. The ease and efficiency of the project was only to be eclipsed by the impressive power savings; a saving of 51.11% (195,809.12kWh) was achieved.
By utilising the VEET scheme Aglo Systems could also deliver a payback period of 2.74 years.
