NEWS ARTICLE ARCHIVESConcrete Repair & Crack Injection Melbourne from FEW Waterproofing![]() Case Study Water leaks caused damage to the concrete walls and floor of this underground garage. The concrete deterioration was due to failure of the waterproofing membrane on the terrace above the garage.
Our Team applied high pressure polyurethane crack injection technique to the garage concrete roof and wall. We recommended polyurethane crack injection due to its high reliability, polyurethane is also flexible and able to absorb compressive force. The injected polyurethane fills the crack through the entire thickness of the wall thereby preventing water from entering the crack. The chemical expansion of the polyurethane (typically 5-10 times its original volume) makes it very effective at filling voids within the concrete.
