FLIR Systems is the world leader for thermal imaging cameras. Fire fighters are using thermal imaging cameras to protect their own lives and to save the lives of others.

The FLIR K50 is the perfect tool for firefighters. Firefighters of the future need to have access to the most modern equipment during their training. Thermal imaging cameras are tools that will not only help firefighters to save lives but to protect their own lives as well.

Educational offer
In order to ensure that as many firefighting schools and training centres as possible are using thermal imaging cameras in their programs, FLIR Systems is offering the FLIR K50 at a discount of no less than 30%.

Firefighting schools and training centres can purchase up to three FLIR K50 thermal imaging cameras at a 30% discount.

FLIR K50
The K50 is designed to meet tough operating conditions. It withstands a drop from 2 metres onto a concrete floor, is water resistant to IP67 and fully operational up to +260 °C / +500°F (for 5 minutes). It produces crisp thermal images of 320 x 240 pixels and has a large, bright 4" display.

Different colour modes make the FLIR K50 the perfect instrument for every firefighter's job. An intuitive and simple user interface allows the operator to focus on the job at hand. The FLIR K50 can be controlled by just 3 large buttons, ideally suited for a firefighter's gloved hand. Thermal images can be stored in the FLIR K-Series and later used to produce simple reports of what happened at the scene.

FLIR Systems gives a full 2 year warranty on every FLIR K50. The uncooled microbolometer itself is covered by no less than a 10 year warranty. If a problem should occur within this timeframe FLIR Systems will replace the uncooled microbolometer detector free of charge or, depending on the case, even replace the entire thermal imaging camera. In order to benefit from these warranty conditions, the owner of the FLIR thermal imaging camera must register the product at the FLIR Systems website. Registration needs to be done within 30 days from purchase. Cameras that are not registered have a 1 year warranty.
