Dux Hot Water Unveils Clever Water Saving Systems

Dux Hot Water will unveil two clever new water and energy saving systems, in keeping with Brisbane Council's new sustainable building code requirements, at the Home and Building Expo.

The Expo will run from May 26-29 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Dux Hot Water's Readyhot is a water recirculation system that drastically reduces water wasted while waiting for the hot tap to 'run hot', by pumping the cooled water back into the hot water tank.

Readyhot can be fitted to all hot water systems - either retrofitted to existing systems, or fitted during the installation of all types of new systems.

Tests have shown that Readyhot could save households thousands of litres of water per year.

At the Home and Building Expo Dux will also unveil the Endurance Plus continuous flow water heater, which has achieved in excess of 5 stars in energy efficiency.

Endurance Plus is Dux Hot Water's latest, and most energy-efficient continuous flow system yet.

As sales of continuous flow water heaters continue to rise, the Endurance Plus system offers builders and home renovators improved value for money in addition to a range of new features.

These include a preset 50 degree Celsius maximum temperature and the availability of a new all-weather powder coat cover, and touchpad temperature controllers across the 16, 20 and 26-litre water heater range.

Dux temperature controllers are also available for the 26-litre stainless steel covered Endurance Premium with a maximum temperature of 60 or 75 degrees Celsius. Controllers allow users to vary water temperatures in different parts of the house.

These latest products will be displayed alongside Dux Hot Water's full range of water heating systems, which includes the popular range of SunPro solar hot water systems, conventional systems and the environmentally-friendly Heat Pro heat pump.
