NEWS ARTICLE ARCHIVESMore than meets the eye with Wonderful KitchensWith a host of features, this newly built kitchen seamlessly integrates a number of elements. The owners' wishes were simple: they wanted a kitchen that would have the feeling of minimal cabinetry yet plenty of storage; they wanted to include a number of appliances but not have them on display; and they wanted plenty of access to facilitate inside/outside living. Andrew Dee of Wonderful Kitchens has not only been able to meet these requests, he has included additional elements as well. By keeping the majority of cabinets along one wall, it appears at a casual glance that the room is fairly sparse in storage space, but nothing could be further from the truth. The integration of most of the appliances creates an appealing sense of seamlessness throughout the room. The orientation of the room, particularly in relation to the glass windows, allows for easy access to the outside dining areas, making entertaining and catering a breeze. In addition, Blumotion soft-close mechanisms have been installed on all the drawers in this highly functional and great-looking room. Fact File DOORS & PANELS Metallic polyurethane in "Iron Bark." |
