Smooth lines and crisp surfaces ensure this kitchen is a work of art

Welcoming anyone who enters, this delightful kitchen is the perfect space for a family. The contemporary design is functional yet visually appealing. Sitting between the main living, dining and laundry areas, the kitchen required three different access points and needed to merge into the main dining space.

Solving the issue of seamless integration, designer Andrew Dee has continued the kitchen bulkhead through to the dining room. This efficient design has allowed room for a casual eating area that provides enough space for the children to do their homework.

Incorporating modern elements throughout the kitchen, Andrew has fitted Blumotion soft close drawers for ease of use. In addition, every drawer has 45-degree finger-pull openings. Thick bench tops have been chosen in Alpine White Quantum Quartz with slab ends stretching to the floor. The crisp white quartz and high-gloss cabinetry combine with the soft blue tones in the glass splashback. Together with the blue hues in the front panel of the raised servery, this mixture of colour ensures the space has an uplifting ambience. Mirror laminate kickboards complement the contemporary look and reflect the warm colours in the wooden floor. With a family to cater for it was important efficient technology was included in the kitchen. The Ilve oven is large enough to easily cater for a crowd and the Asko cooktop is also a highly functional appliance.

Andrew has successfully included each element the owners required. The kitchen features contemporary fixtures, an efficient design and acts as a central point between the three adjoining rooms.
