CBS Radiant Heating Systems have been involved in the radiant floor heating and radiant ceiling heating industry in Australia since 1995. It was about this time we became aware of the Safe-t-FLEX Carbon Film for radiant ceiling heating, which was already established in North America, Canada Europe and the UK. Since then, many projects, including over 70 aged care facilities, numerous restaurants, motels, schools and private residences are enjoying the safe, reliable, comfort this wonderful product provides.

In 2003 the company turned to floor heating and with the advent of the "Smart Meter" decided to focus on the importation of cables for the ever-popular in slab heating. In October 2003 the first batch of the Safe-t-FLEX Carbon Film Radiant Floor Heating variant was imported. This at the time was quite revolutionary since no one in Australia thought wooden floors were suitable for heating. Thankfully, this perception is changing, albeit slowly.

The Australian building industry is finally addressing building energy efficiency standards and the residential market is gradually embracing the central heating option and these modern allergen free systems are gaining attention.

CBS Heating has been set up as an importer dealing only with the manufacturer directly and through its network, distributes the products "on-line" throughout Australia. The approach is kept simple and caters for the growing markets of construction and DIY renovators.

These installation plans, the system specifications and, in the case of the purchase of ceiling heating; the necessary preliminary heat loss analysis, are provided free of charge.
