The new CardWatcher and KeyLocker secure container systems from Keywatch Systems Qld

Keywatch Systems Qld announces the release of the new range of CardWatcher electronic card management systems and KeyLocker secure container systems. Designed specifically for securing, restricting and monitoring the use of credit cards, access cards fuel cards etc or items such as PDC's, Mobiles, Two-Ways or other devices from unauthorised access.

They operate in much the same way that the renowned KeyWatcher and KeyBank electronic key management systems work by restricting or permitting users with access to credit cards or a secure locker using an authorised user code and PIN or optional Biometric fingerprint. This action automatically records the user's name, time date, credit card number and type to a PC or the locker contents and monitors the card or item's return.

It works just like removing a key from the KeyWatcher but instead releases cards... In most instances credit cards would either be issued on a permanent basis or retained by administrators to dispense on request. The system holds almost any type of card including most security access control cards which could be accessed by only by an authorised person at a certain authorised time and or date. This means it is no longer necessary to duplicate access control cards for restricted areas and distribute them to multiple users that can compromise the security of cards by the potential for them to be lost stolen or used without appropriate authority.

An example could be where authorised users are issued with a card to access a number of less secure areas but are required to retrieve a card for access to more highly restricted areas via the CardWatcher. The secure locker system enables access to items like electronic devices that are not normally issued on a permanent basis but needed by various users at various times and monitored for their safe return. The CardWatcher and KeyLocker component can be supplied as dedicated Card or Locker systems within their own cabinet or combined with cards and lockers and keys.

The unique design and versatility of the KeyWatcher using modular components enables a multiple of options for any application. Keys, cards and electronic or other devices can all be secured, restricted from unauthorised access and monitored within the same cabinet As with KeyWatcher, all user, key, card or device transactions are recorded live to the Key-Pro management software and automatically retained and archived for instant or future audits and reports.

Over cabinets are available to secure Cards in 8,16, up to 96 cards and 2, 6 or 12 lockers. Combination cabinets provide for keys, cards and lockers within same cabinet.
