Murano Walls creation of space & light with seamless interaction in an outdoor space

Completion of Murano Walls Mosman Project took place in June 2007 with "stunning aesthetic" results!

Our clients vision was very clear to the Management Crew at Murano Walls: "Create space and light in abundance as well as a seamless interaction with an outdoor space within the constraints of the renovation."

This extremely challenging project started for Murano Walls in late 2006. The entire residence in Mosman was under renovation and it was not until late February 2007 that the Crew at Murano was able to start their phase of the renovation.

Many hurdles had to be overcome by the constraints of the renovation-taking place around the Installation Crew as they endeavored to install this frameless glass sliding system with seamless glass walls surrounding this very unique project.

In conjunction with the sliding system installed on this project Yari Joensuu, Director of Murano Walls, developed and implemented a stunning structural frame, through extensive research and development, that would enhance the external façade of the Frameless Glass Sliding Wall System, covering the transom beam and creating an aesthetic that supplemented the glass wall system creating an alloy pelmet that "floats" across the glass; the perfect solution to what was an extremely challenging feature!
