FAAC's all star radio controlled motor changes everything!

The new ER range will now be coming with an inbuilt obstacle detection chip. How does this change everything? It means that your shutter/roller blind/awning/clear PVC café blind/etc will stop and reverse a downward movement after detecting an obstacle, a bump or a shock to the installation that exceeds the setting programmed into the chip.

There are 9 levels of sensitivity to choose from, so no matter what the installation type and no matter how sensitive you need it to be FAAC's TMODE 'ER' motors will fit the bill.

In addition to bringing this new 'standard-to-be' to the tubular motor industry the motor can be programmed to ignore the obstacle detection for a certain section of the motors run or conversely it can be set to operate under high sensitivity for the entire travel.

The ER range also cuts-out after 1 second if the blind, shutter or awning has been locked in the down position. This saves the installation from being damaged or the motor burnt out unnecessarily.

Please note that the obstacle detection only operates during an active downward movement and is no substitute for a FAAC wind sensor. The new FAAC Wind and Sun sensor will be available and ready for the summer of 2010-2011.
