The Department of Transport and Main Roads QLD have just completed the construction of an underpass to provide the St Mary's Lower and Upper Schools community and general public in Warwick with a safe access across Wood Street (Cunningham Highway). The new crossing will provide a safer environment for the large number of students, staff and general public who cross Wood Street.

Designed by Sinclair Knight Mertz Consulting Engineers the underpass incorporates a world-class lighting and surveillance system supplied by Selux Australia Pty Ltd.

Consisting of a Media Trunking System that allows for the easy installation of vandal resistance fluorescent weatherproof fittings controlled by a dimmable lighting control system. Also Incorporated into the Media Trunking System is 4 x cameras, which allows for surveillance of the underpass during limited times of the morning and afternoons.

The Selux Media Trunking System has been specifically designed for areas of Public Circulation and incorporates Lighting, Cameras and Sound in the one system and is ideal for Railway Platform, Bus Interchanges, Pedestrian bridges or underpass or Public amenities.
