All prices and discounts are controlled by managers to avoid over or undercharging at the start of the day, the chef can enter number of available portions. When orders equal this number, all ordering devices are alerted to portions left in stock. Order process tracking is displayed on the order panel making it easy for staff to see. Printing is automatic at designated remote printers. Table accounts are always up to date and ready to print. Staff can print a table account from a cashier terminal, an ordering terminal or the wireless order pad. Same screen wireless pads wirelessly transmit orders to the kitchen. These POS devices make light of table ordering and help keep staff on the floor Orders are wirelessly transmitted to the kitchen. Using the same interface as the touch screen terminals, staff only have to learn one system. Staff can log on using a staff number, a mag stripe card or a wrist band proximity sensor. They can log onto any terminal in the venue and enter the table order. The POS system keeps track of each servers log on time, log off time, average cover, entrees mains desserts served etc. Other features like advanced inventory, membership, loyalty, labor management and reporting are included.
