Over 2500m2 of DalNaturel in studded profile (Pastille Alpha) in 6 colours was installed 3 years ago at Macquarie Bank's new head office in King Street Wharf in Sydney. The building is a 6-star Greenstar building so the use of large oreas of DalNaturel in break out areas, corridors, all internal stairs and kitchenettes contributed to greenstar points.

Dalsouple has a range of 80 standard colours and over 30 textures but can make up any pantone colour with no minimums. The 6 colours chosen by designers from Woods Bagot were Vert Pomme (green), Vert Fonce (dark green), Orange, Gris Chaillot (mid-grey), two pantone blues. The tiles were laid on the internal stairs and because the rubber is soft, tactiles were able to be inserted into the rubber on the landings of each staircase. The Pastille Alpha texture has an R10 slip rating as opposed to other companies' studded rubber which is only R9.

The tiles are butt jointed with no heat welding so that the whole floor looks like it has a seamless finish. The tiles are easy to clean with damp mopping or spray buffing to polish out any scratches on the polish.

DalNaturel is a high quality, high end floor that will be economical in the long term. It has a 10 year guarantee but expected to last much longer. The architect who designed Macquarie Bank liked the Dalsouple so much that he had it installed in his house!
