Kelair's Mackay office now offers a service facility

Kelair's branch office in Mackay, Queensland, has recently expanded into a shared office-workshop facility in the industrial suburb of Paget. This facility is now home to the Mackay sales force which has recently added a pump service division to its team.

Adding pump service and maintenance to the Mackay operation has expanded its capabilities enormously in Central Queensland. From Mackay, Kelair can now offer complete local backup for products sold locally into Central / North Queensland as well as further afield.

"Our customers have been looking forward to us opening a service division in Mackay for quite some time" said Myro Bratkovic, Queensland's branch manager.

"Clients have been telling me they want us to fix their industrial pumps; we are able to repair their pumps now and have been doing so for the past few weeks."

Repairing a pump is not just about changing a seal and some bearings, or a diaphragm, or any other component that may have failed. It's about understanding the dynamic between all of the components in a pump.

"In the short time we've been repairing pumps here in Mackay that were previously serviced by other local companies, it is very apparent to us that some of these companies have not been paying enough attention to detail or simply do not understand what makes an industrial pump tick" explains Myro.

"We live and breathe industrial pumps and no one in Mackay or anywhere in Queensland knows and understands Kelair's products like we do."

Kelair Mackay now locally stocks significant quantities of Sandpiper diaphragm pumps and spares, as well as many spare parts for other leading brands of diaphragm pumps at our Paget, Mackay facility.
