Brisbane Girls Grammar

White powder coated frames and white Ferrari 502 vinyl canopies have been the theme throughout. Their umbrellas range from 3mt. to 4.8mt. squares, some with connecting gutters to produce a waterproof walkway. The school started purchasing our umbrellas in 1992 gradually getting more, with their last purchase in 2008 taking their tally to 34.

"Brisbane Girls Grammar School is fortunate to have been associated with Ultrashade for over fifteen years when our first umbrellas were installed at the rear of the Main Building and to the Stage Lawn deck. I joined that School in 1999 and since that time we have installed many additional umbrellas - both freestanding and some with connecting gutters to create covered walkways. We make an effort to clean all umbrellas at least annually to extend the life of the canopy which has rewarded us with the necessity to replace the canopies on only a minimum number (four or five) of the original umbrellas. So ... I believe one can expect at least 12 years of service from the umbrella canopy. Possibly a lifetime from the frame!! We have never had any damage to the umbrellas caused by storms, high winds, etc.
