Rainscreen Cladding Video from Dynamic Composite Technologies
Rainscreen cladding is the attachment of an outer skin of rear-ventilated decorative cladding to a new or an existing building. A Rainscreen is a form of double-wall construction that uses an outer decorative layer to keep out the rain and an inner layer to provide thermal insulation, prevent excessive air leakage and carry wind loading.
NVELOPE design and manufactures an 'off the shelf' range of aluminum brackets, rails and systems for vertical and horizontal cladding applications. The brackets and rails support the decorative cladding panels and create the cavity between the building substrate and façade panel required for insulation and for ventilation. NVELOPE also manufactures bespoke systems for specific OEM customers.
