Sandstone Cladding for Precast Concrete Structure with StoneClip

sandstone clad precast concrete structure

Project: Cladding of the WALTER & CO BUILDING
Contractor: Heritage Stone of Cambridge, Tasmania (03-62485572)

This is another project that has just been completed by qualified Stone Masons. The head mason on the project was Mr Brad Rizzolo, who has been using Stoneclip products for the last 4 years on and off.

The project was cladding a precast concrete structure.

The main walling was 30mm Tasmanian sandstone with mitred returns into window and door openings.

These were fixed with a combination of tile adhesive and set size stone clips.

The pilaster stones were 110mm thick solid stones. These were retained and supported by the 12mm stone pins at every course.

Breaks in the stonework were designed in to match the joints of the concrete panels behind to accommodate any movement.

The stone mouldings were also held back with 20 mm set size stone clips.
