Tensioned membrane architecture from Billabong Shade

Billabong Shade and Queensland-based Tension Span Structures have recently
signed an agreement that will see some marvellous opportunities in tensioned
membrane architecture; especially in NSW and Victoria. Billabong Shade
wanted to expand its waterproof modular structure range to meet growing
demand. Billabong Shade managing director, John Simmonds said "there are
very few companies with really top quality products in this specialised
field. The Tension Span "Flexshade" range, based on more than 25 years of
experience in Australian weather conditions was our choice".
The Flexshade range of modular waterproof pre-engineered shade structures
allows architects and builders greater design scope without blowing the
budget. Billabong Shade will be using the Spec-Net data banks to ensure
those in design and construction learn how helpful Billabong Shade can be
for shade cloth and waterproof membrane ideas and advice.
