Australia’s leading garage door manufacturer has launched a designer door with a style and look that can change with the seasons.
The new Design-A-Door from B&D is an innovative, sectional overhead garage door which allows the homeowner to mix and match door inserts to suit personal style, season, ventilation, lighting and security.

The lightweight aluminium frame of the Design-A-Door holds different styles of interchangeable panel inserts made from a range of stylish materials including acrylic, timber, fibreglass and aluminium. It offers the flexibility to select from 13 different insert options, which can be easily changed to create a dramatic new look.

The aluminium plate inserts are available in natural aluminium or a powder coated finish, with a choice of over 100 colours.

The western red cedar inserts, which are tongue and groove slats, can be orientated horizontally, vertically or diagonally as a striking design feature.

Inserts in opaque acrylic are designed to allow light to enter the garage and also to accentuate the garage and provide driveway illumination and radiate a warm glow at night when garage lighting is switched on. The custom panel sizes and evenly spaced insert openings ensure that the door will fit any home and can be easily changed by a local B&D installer at any time.

The B&D Design-A-Door frame is manufactured from industrial strength aluminium, ensuring it is lightweight and remains rust free.

The door also guarantees a smooth, quiet operation with nylon wheels and ball bearings that keep operational noise to a minimum.

Galvanised hinges and hangers provide the door with additional strength, durability and superior resistance to corrosion.

The Design-A-Door is covered by a 12-month warranty for the complete door and parts in domestic and industrial/commercial applications.
