NEWS ARTICLE ARCHIVESCSR Roofing panels meets energy efficiency requirements of the BCA, Part JCSR Bradcore's rock wool insulated panel was recently installed at 200 Toorak Road, South Yarra. The 80mm rock wool panel system met the R1.8 thermal wall insulation requirements of the BCA, Part J required. It also met the acoustic and fire requirements of the building. The Bradcore system was simple to install, which was important due to challenges such as tight access to the site, as well as no outside access to parts of the building. The south elevation was installed vertically and from within the building, while the east elevation was installed horizontally from outside the structure. Aesthetically, the southern and eastern elevations created an arresting façade. In total around 600m² of Bradcore Smooth 600 rock wool panels were used on the project. |
