Dematec Construction is the Australian representative of the outstanding FTC / Bridgestone advanced GRP panel type water tanks.

The most significant advantage of the panel type tank system is its flexibility. The FTC / Bridgestone tanks are modular and can be assembled in new buildings, freestanding, or as replacement tanks in established sites. Sizes range from 10 kilolitres up to 10 megalitres and can be constructed to fit most shapes and sizes.

The advantages of the FTC pure water storage system derive from the design (modular panels designed for optimum functional efficiency), the material & process (hot pressed GRP), and the packaging (kit).

The modular tanks are:

• light (GRP panels are one third the weight of equivalent steel panels);
• special equipment is not required, even where access is difficult;
• installation can progress quickly and efficiently;
• panel sizes range from 0.5 to 2.0 meters in height and can be combined to create a tank up to 4m high;
• panels are formed from hot pressed GRP and all units offer the option of integral insulation and UV stability;
• stored water makes contact with GRP surfaces only and does not make contact with steel;
• smooth finish panels require minimal cleaning;
• panels designed to limit algae growth;
• drainage can be complete due to the convex base panels;
• tanks can be installed at ground level, on top of or inside buildings, or on steel towers.
