Grip Guard non-slip solutions invited to feature in the StaySafe@Home Expo

Grip Guard Australia liaises with a number of government departments whose aim is to protect the elderly and disabled in our community. As the chosen non slip provider for the Department of Veteran Affairs, Grip Guard has the opportunity to have provide Australian veterans with anti slip protection from dangerous slip and fall injuries.

Recently, Grip Guard Australia has been asked to participate in the upcoming StaySafe@Home Expo. This expo is run by the OEPCP which is a network of primary care agencies and community service organisations. The OEPCP, in partnership with the Department of Veteran Services, is currently working on a project called SAFEmoves@home. The aim of the project is to reduce the number of slips and falls experienced by people over the age of 65 who are living in their own homes.

The aim of the expo is to encourage local organisations to demonstrate to the community the wide range of services that are available that can reduce the risk of falls amongst older adults and which can assist them to continue to live safely and independently in their own homes.
